Accompanying H.E. Governor Gideon Mung’aro and his Deputy Hon.Flora Mbetsa, the CECM for Roads Catherine Kenga, and Chief Officer for Roads Philip Charo attended day 1 of the county Mashinani phase 3 at Mapimo Polytechnic, Magarini sub-county.

The event, also attended by the CECMs and chief officers from other departments of the Kilifi County Government, provided a vibrant opportunity for the county government and, more importantly, the road department to comprehensively highlight the achievements of completed and ongoing road projects by outlining their budgets, timelines, and expected outcomes.

The interactive session equally provided a platform for the citizens of Magarini to give their views, ideologies, and advice on the best and most appropriate road projects that the people considered urgent.

The Department of Roads is open to ideologies as well as advice on the best approach to initiating road projects.

We wish to thank H. Excellency, the Governor, for coming up with the county Mashinani programme, which gives us the platform to check on our track record as a department.
