During day 2 of phase III of County Mashinani, headed by H. Excellency Governor Gideon Mung’aro and his Deputy Hon.Flora Mbetsa, in the company of County Executive Committee members and chief officers in Malindi, the department of roads was ably represented by CECM for Roads Hon.Catherine Kenga and Chief Officer for Roads Philip Charo.
The event gave the CECM and the chief officer the opportunity to highlight the achievements, works in progress, and future plans for roads in Malindi. Further, the event gave the people of Malindi the opportunity to give their views in regards to the road projects already done in Malindi subcounty under H. Excellence Governor Gideon Mung’aro’s regime. It equally amplified the immediate needs of the people of Malindi.
As a department, we welcome the county Mashinani initiative as it creates a more challenging environment that, in the long run, provides checks and balances in our service delivery.
