Hon. Catherine Kenga, CECM for Public Works, Roads and Transport, conducted an inspection of county-owned boats at the Fisheries and Kivukoni areas.
During the inspection, it was noted that the boats require additional maintenance and an adequate supply of life jackets and safety rings.
Hon. Kenga emphasized the importance of adherence to safety guidelines, including prohibition of overloading and mandatory use of life jackets for all passengers.
