Chief Officers Phillip Wario (Livestock) and Lawrence Bokoro (Public Works) visited Tezo ward to officially hand over the site for the construction of a honey processing plant.
The establishment of a honey processing plant in Tezo is a significant project for H.E. Gideon Maitha Mung’aro, as it will create a market for honey that benefits farmers and supports the development of the apiculture value chain outlined in the Mungaro wa Kilifi Agricultural Transformation Plan.
Other individuals present at the event included Quantity Surveyor Desmond Mureithi from the Directorate of Public Works, representatives from area MCA Hon. Tom Chengo office, and representatives from ASKAS Enterprises, the contractor.
