Hon. Catherine Kenga, the CEC for Public Works, Roads, and Transport and her team; Chief Officer, Special programs and Disaster Management – Irene Opicho, Chief Officer, Education – Fredrick Nguma, Sub-County Ward Administrator, Magarini – Richard Lwambi and Ag. Director Roads, Elvis Dulu were in Magarini to follow up on the Kilifi County Mashinani initiative launched by His Excellency, Governor Gideon Mungaro. The initiative aims to enhance public participation in development programs, improve service delivery, and promote transparency and accountability.
Hon. Catherine Kenga and her team started off with the health sector in Magarini by visiting Marafa Hospital and Karimboni Dispensary. During the visit, they evaluated the state of these healthcare facilities and identified areas that require improvement.
As part of the initiative, county officials will continue to engage with the public in every step of development programs available, inspect current projects, and launch new ones as sanctioned by the people.
