The CEC for Public Works, Roads and Transport, Hon. Catherine Kenga together with MCA Garashi Ward – Hon. Theosiphilus Fondo and her team; Chief Officer, Special programs and Disaster Management – Irene Opicho, Chief Officer, Education – Fredrick Nguma, Sub-County Ward Administrator, Magarini – Richard Lwambi and Ag. Director Roads, Elvis Dulu visited Mapotea Dagamra Secondary School Road in Magarini Sub-County, Garashi Ward that is set for grading and murraming. The road is approximately 11km.
In line with the Governor’s vision, the team will map out the local road infrastructures in the different wards of Magarini sub-county to ensure that commuters have access to them while launching projects that will improve their daily lives.
They also inspected the area to identify any potential challenges that could arise during the construction process, taking note of the terrain, drainage systems, and other environmental factors that could affect the project. The CEC and her team are committed to delivering quality infrastructure projects that will positively impact the lives of the people in Kilifi County.
